Innokin Vape SmartBox Review

The Innokin Smartbox beginner kit, which incorporates the Smartbox mod and the outstanding Innokin iSub V clearomizer, is one of Innokin's most recent starter kit products. The top ports of the Subohm tank, accessed by unscrewing the top part, fill the tank's 2ml capacity with juice. Cleverly, the spring-loaded chimney section jumps up to block the juice holes when you unscrew the top cap to fill it up with juice, preventing you from ever flooding the Coils with extra liquid.

To disassemble the iSub tank into its sections for maintenance and cleaning, unscrew the top section and remove the glass.

The iSub tank has a brilliantly constructed spill-proof coil changing system that allows it to replace the coil without getting juice on your hands. To change the coil, unscrew the airflow control ring and remove it from the tank's base.

The wire mesh spits back guard on the iSub Coils, effectively stopping e-liquid from spitting up the mouthpiece.

BUILD QUALITY

The SmartBox needs a more robust user interface. In addition to the little LED lights at the mod's base that indicate which coil has been recognized, there is a power/firing button. Even though it wasn't intended to be a cloud chasers tank, it delivers a generous amount of vapour when fully opened.

You must buy a 18650 battery separately from a reliable supplier to use the Innokin Smartbox. The Innokin Smartbox does not include a USB charging connector. Therefore, if your batteries run out, you will need more 18650 batteries close at hand. The vaping sensation is more relaxing with less vapour, just like the 0.5ohm coil.

FUNCTIONAL FEATURES

By the applied resistance, the chipset will automatically adjust the power. Using a 0,35 resistor, it can produce a peak power of 45W. There is only one button on this box, which is used to turn on and off the mod and activate the fire button.

I observe that the LED's brightness is insufficient and difficult to see. Depending on the amount of power left, the LED in the fire button will change colour. The colour green shows the full charge, yellow indicates halfway loaded, and red means the battery is about to run out.

The switch's thread is of high quality and is constructed of brass. When screwing or unscrewing the clearomizer, it needs to hold firmly.

The stainless steel atomiser has a diameter of 22 mm and a height of 45 mm. A configurable airflow will allow both a tight draw for beginners and an aerial better for intermediates and experienced riders.

Its 2 ml capacity may be readily filled from the top. Since the liquid inlets close when the top cap is unscrewed, there is no need to shut off the airflow before filling. For optimum use, a PG/VG ratio of 50/50 will be suitable for this clearomiser.

WHAT WE LIKED

WHAT WE LEAST LIKED

The Smartbox's chip automatically adjusts the power for you based on the resistance of your coil; you cannot manually change this setting.

This mod's entire purpose is to achieve that, and although it's wonderful for beginner vapers, more seasoned users might want to customise their vaporiser further.

Connecting an external charger when your battery runs out would be best because the Smartbox lacks a USB charging connector.

While many of Innokin's most recent products and others within the same price range include temperature control, the Smartbox does not.

Once more, Innokin is pitching this towards e-cigarette users who prefer simplicity; if temp control is your thing, this is certainly not the mod for you.
